3. Fisherman’s Wharf Chowder and Crab Sidewalk Stands
Family-owned business since 1976, locally sourced ingredients

For an unmatched New England clam chowder in a sourdough bread bowl, head to the Wharf. The experience is preferable to Legal Seafood in Boston, although it attracts many tourists. While you may notice a fishy smell afterward, the delicious crab and the third booth's offerings are worth it. The first and fourth booths are not as recommendable, but the rest remains to be tasted.
The crab, combo crab, garlic bread, and fries served at this location are all delightful. The place is charming, and the food is delicious. The third booth, located farthest from the water, offers notably tasty crab. Despite the crowd of tourists, this Wharf destination provides a satisfying seafood experience.
