The Elmhurst Hotel is conveniently located right next to the subway, making it incredibly easy to get around. Checking in was a breeze and there was even a vending machine and ice machine available right next to the reception area. The king size bed in the room was exceptionally comfortable and provided ample space. Although there was no microwave or refrigerator, the bathroom was spotless and all necessary amenities were provided.
While it may not be the best hotel we've ever stayed in, the Elmhurst Hotel deserves its 4-star rating. It offers good value for the price and the location is perfect for exploring Queens and getting into Manhattan via the subway. The rooms may be basic, but they are a decent size and provide everything you need for a comfortable stay.
