Juice Press is best known as a fresh juice store. But it's also a great place for smoothies. Most of the places on this list will be smaller independent stores. But Juice Press is a really great place, so I wanted to include it here. It's important to have some chains on the list because not everyone will be able to go to local stores. They do some things that I'm not a fan of. That is, the “coffee bean drivers”. These are the little extras they offer to add to their smoothies. As a general rule, I like to keep coffee and caffeine out of my smoothies. But Juice Press hits the nail on the head with some pretty designs. Although they are not really for those who are on a diet. Some of their most popular offerings include: F’ing Blueberry Blue Magic Strawberry Banana Chocolate Protein Why do I like to recommend Juice Press? Well, for one, they use plant-based protein in their shakes. Of which I am a great defender. Plus, they include almond butter in many of their smoothies. Plus, they are big supporters of using organic products, something I'm a big fan of. Additionally, Jucie Press has a good number of locations around the city. They have locations on the Upper East Side, Upper West Side, and most of lower Manhattan.
