From art and music to splash days and character visits, the camp offers a wide range of engaging and age-appropriate activities that keep kids entertained and learning all summer long.
Unfortunately, during our time at Kidventure, we had a negative experience with Child Protective Services. It's crucial for CPS to take reports of suspected child abuse seriously, but in our case, the agency mistakenly believed that our son's sunburn and excitement were signs of neglect. I would like to see CPS provide better training to their staff to ensure that they can accurately recognize and respond to actual signs of abuse. Despite this one negative experience, we highly recommend Kidventure Camps for families looking for a safe, fun, and educational summer program.

A group arrived at Camp Wisdom for a scouting camp trip and had an amazing experience. The camp staff warmly welcomed everyone and assisted in locating the planned activities for the day. The camp, spanning 371 acres, provides plenty of space for a memorable camping experience near Dallas. It is one of the oldest camps in Texas, rich in camping history and a popular summer destination for many Dallas natives.

The camp offers ample parking and a variety of activities. Staff members were helpful in ensuring everyone found their scheduled events. The camp's long history and connection to the local community have made it a beloved summer tradition for many Dallas families.
