10. Arden Park Recreation & Park District
Scenic views of the American River

The park is a great place to visit, but the summer kids camp was disappointing. Upon arrival, there were forty kids and only three high school students wearing "staff" shirts. One of the kids hurt his ankle and cried for five minutes before receiving any help.
In contrast, my recent visit to the park with my 11-month-old and 3-year-old was enjoyable. The playground has ample shade, which helped keep it cool. It was filled with many young children and mothers, creating a pleasant and safe atmosphere. The park appeared clean and well-maintained, providing a positive experience for our family.
