I had negative experiences at other nail salons in the area, but I have finally found a new home at Blossom, which I consider to be the best salon in Chicago. The salon has a welcoming and cozy atmosphere, and they were able to accommodate me as a last-minute walk-in during my first visit. However, I did encounter one issue. Upon arrival, I was greeted by a man at the front who acknowledged my appointment at 3 pm. Later, another woman arrived and asked for the same service without an appointment. The man told her it would be an hour wait, but he had me sit down and wait. To my surprise, he started the woman who arrived after me, which I found frustrating.
Despite the initial wait, the nail technician did start my service after only 15 minutes. Regardless, the fact that walk-ins without appointments were being prioritized over scheduled appointments was concerning. Despite this incident, I still believe that Blossom is a great salon, and I hope that they improve their policies to ensure that appointments are given priority over walk-ins in the future.

There was a desire to tip the second technician, but it seemed not allowed. I received the Dazzle Flexible 'no chip' polish, and the attached photographs show its condition on days 1, 4, and 7. Despite having a desk job, even acrylic polish usually lasts me for a solid 3 weeks.
Upon returning to address some issues and make a change to gel polish, I was charged the full price, despite expressing my willingness to pay the difference or even half the price, since it was a different polish. The staff members were extremely friendly and the facility was immaculate. They provided an excellent pedicure service, and there was a wide variety of polish options available. As an added bonus, a complimentary glass of wine was offered.
