2. The Point on Lake Worth
Historic significance as a recreational hub

During our recent visit to the area, we were disappointed with the quality of most of the local eateries. However, The Point on Lake Worth proved to be a delightful surprise. We were initially drawn to the restaurant by the promise of a water view, but we soon discovered that the food was just as impressive. We savored every bite of our cheeseburger with fries and the BLT with onion rings, but it was the delicious, perfectly cooked onion rings that truly stole the show. Trust us - you won't want to miss them!
3. Augie's Sunset Cafe and Marina
Stunning Sunset Views

Savor the Flavor of Fresh, Handcrafted Delights: Augie's Mouthwatering Burgers Prepare your taste buds for an unparalleled culinary journey. Four of us indulged in the mouthwatering mushroom burger and chili cheese burger, and we were not disappointed. The chili, crafted in-house, offered the perfect blend of spice, richness, and comforting familiarity, complementing the hamburger, onion, and pickle. For those craving something unique, the mushroom burger boasts a delightful combination of tender mushrooms, savory bacon, and a symphony of flavors that will leave you craving more. Don't miss out on this coastal treasure.
4. Capp Smith Park
Natural scenery, family-friendly atmosphere

Located just around the corner from my house, Capp Smith Park has become a beloved part of our family's routine. We can't get enough of the scenic trail that surrounds the park, offering miles of exploration and exercise for all ages. Whether you're looking for a place to unwind, connect with nature, or simply enjoy some quality time with loved ones, Capp Smith Park is the ultimate destination for a memorable day in the great outdoors.
5. Marion Sansom Park
Dog-friendly park, free admission
However, the park's trails can be treacherous after rain which limits its enjoyment. The narrow paths and rocky terrain demand caution and might not be the best fit for a leisurely stroll. The trails seem to be designed for advanced mountain bikers, while hikers can enjoy the less severe sections. Overall, Marion Sansom Park is an invigorating destination for those seeking a challenge, but less so for those looking to avoid the mud and steep terrain.
6. The Lakehouse
Pet-friendly park with dog swimming area

My recent visit to The Lakehouse with my family was an absolute pleasure. The food was top-notch, and the kids particularly enjoyed their meals. The pool tables were a hit with the whole family, providing endless entertainment and creating a fun and relaxed atmosphere. The Lakehouse is more than just a restaurant - it's a hidden gem and a perfect hangout spot right in our neighborhood. We can't wait to return!

The park's tranquil lake is surrounded by tall oak trees, providing ample shade and a peaceful ambiance. The lake is home to mallard ducks and geese, with sailboats dotting the horizon. While there are limited amenities such as porta potties, gravel roads, and a few picnic benches, the park's natural beauty is the real draw. Visitors can immerse themselves in nature, complete with gravel roads, porta potties in a woodsy area, and limited walking trails. The park is a true escape from the hustle and bustle of city life.
