1. Joe T. Garcia's
A Fort Worth institution since 1935 with a lively atmosphere and delicious Mexican cuisine
Overall, our experience at Joe T. Garcia's was brief but left a lasting impression. If you find yourself in Fort Worth, do yourself a favor and make a reservation. You won't regret it!

2. Woodshed Smokehouse
Owned by renowned chef Tim Love, overlooking the Trinity River
Despite the promising ambiance and alluring menu, Woodshed Smokehouse falls short in delivering value for your hard-earned money. Regrettably, our experience with the smoked fish dip was disappointing, as we found it wanting in the promised smoky taste, and the presence of a fishy aftertaste left us longing for better. The underwhelming portion size of the sandwich, barely larger than a slider, only added insult to injury. With such exorbitant prices, we expected a more satisfying and substantial meal.

4. Gloria's Latin Cuisine
Family-owned restaurant with a lively ambiance and delicious food
On a recent visit with family for my mother-in-law's birthday over the July 4th weekend, we were a group of 20 and had no issues making reservations. Yes, there was a 50-minute wait, but let me tell you, it was worth every second. Our server, Manuel, was outstanding. He was attentive, prompt with taking our orders and replenishing our chips, salsa, and drinks. His excellent service made our experience incredibly enjoyable. And the food? It was absolutely delicious, thanks to the skilled chefs in the kitchen. Don't miss out on this hidden gem.

5. Buffalo Bros Sundance Square
A popular spot for sports fans to catch the game and enjoy great food
Whether you're a die-hard Buffalo fan or just looking for a place to watch the game, Buffalo Bros promises an unforgettable time. Recently, I visited from Houston to watch the Texans playoff game with my family, and we had a fantastic experience. The place was packed, but we managed to snag a great table for our group of five. With its extensive beer selection, mouth-watering food options, and welcoming atmosphere, Buffalo Bros is a must-visit destination for any sports fan.

6. Istanbul grill & bar
Authentic Turkish cuisine in the heart of Fort Worth
But it's the food that truly steals the show. Istanbul Grill, you have me hooked on your incredible goat chops! They're so delicious that I fear I may start dreaming about them. And the fries? Thin, crispy, and dangerously addictive, they're the perfect accompaniment to any dish. Trust me, you'll want to exercise caution before indulging in these treats. Overall, Istanbul Grill & Bar is a hidden gem that should not be missed.
