A group of Houston and The Woodlands' top food critics recently visited Cyclone Anaya's for lunch, but found the experience lacking. However, their day took a turn for the better when they headed to THE CHOCOLATE BAR on West Alabama for dessert. The critics were blown away by the offerings, including the black Russian cake, junkyard ice cream, and cherry amaretto ice cream.
After a birthday celebration at Torchy's, the group stopped by THE CHOCOLATE BAR and were impressed by the dessert options, especially for chocolate lovers. 6. See's Candies

During my travels twenty years ago, I stumbled upon a chocolate store in California that I grew fond of and later found again in Houston. This particular store is not a typical candy shop, but rather a grocery store that offers pre-boxed See's candy assortments. Interestingly, this store sells the candy for almost double the price compared to See's retail stores and online platforms.
As a customer, I find it puzzling that the store charges such high prices for a brand already widely available and at lower costs elsewhere. Despite the steep prices, the availability of these pre-boxed chocolates from See's Candies in the grocery store may provide a unique convenience factor for some consumers, especially for those with a strong affinity for the brand.
