18. Holiday Inn Express San Antonio N-Riverwalk Area, an IHG Hotel
The hotel offers a convenient location near the River Walk and other popular attractions, as well as accessible rooms and facilities
The front desk staff member's rude behavior, particularly when explaining the parking situation, set a negative tone for the stay. The staff member informally and discourteously instructed me to move my vehicle immediately or face towing, which added stress to my stay. The designated parking area was situated on the other side of the block, a considerable distance from the main entrance, posing difficulties for disabled veterans like myself.
On the positive side, the room was clean, and the bed and pillows provided a comfortable sleeping experience. The hotel offered appealing breakfast options, which was a nice touch. However, there were some drawbacks to the stay. Despite the hotel appearing to have few guests upon my arrival on Sunday, I was assigned an 'accessible' room on the fifth (top) floor. This decision, combined with the staff member's rude behavior, negatively impacted my overall experience during my stay at the hotel.
