13. Longtab Brewing Company
Veteran-owned, serves food, indoor/outdoor seating

During a recent vacation to San Antonio, I visited several breweries and one stood out as the best - it's not to be missed! Despite the small menu, every item I tried was fantastic. The Cubano sandwich was one of the best I've ever had, and the garlic/parm pretzel was amazing. The beers were also impressive.
I discovered a new brew house in the northwest part of San Antonio, located in an industrial area near 410 and Bandera. The grilled lamb and cabbage empanada were quite good. While I'm adventurous with food and drinks, I opted for ice cream over beer. I even took home a cinnamon-sugar pretzel with a cinnamon sugar and vanilla dipping sauce, which was so delicious that I finished half of it before making it home. This restaurant is a true gem and I highly recommend a visit!
