2. Bistro Casa Azul

343 Pleasant Ave, New York, NY 10035, USA 1/10 PEOPLE SAY: Brittany Bang Our school recently hosted a staff happy hour at Casa Azul and it was an amazing experience. Lou, the organizer, allowed us to try a few menu items and cocktails beforehand, and they were all delicious. The guacamole was particularly excellent and the tacos, especially the chorizo, were authentic and fresh. On the day of the event we were treated like family and we had the entire place to ourselves. The backyard was clean and beautifully decorated, with a beautiful old-looking wooden partition and stunning paint. The golden taquitos were my personal favorites. Lou took great care of us, preparing our drinks and ensuring our comfort and satisfaction. We will definitely partner with Lou again in the future. Thank you for the wonderful experience! Dorothy Oubre My wife and I have been fans of this establishment since it opened. The ingredients are always fresh and of exceptional quality, and the recipes are truly authentic. The selection of wines, beers and cocktails is delicious. The atmosphere is cozy and the owners are very friendly. This place is a hidden gem.

It consistently offers great food and has become a prominent gem in the neighborhood and in Manhattan. They are very accommodating to people with food allergies or dietary restrictions. I love their fries, raw and ceviche appetizers, and salmon entree. Whether you come for lunch or dinner, you won't go wrong here. The cozy atmosphere adds to the experience. I highly recommend stopping by Perch for a pre- or post-dinner cocktail, which is conveniently located just two blocks away. 4. Lido
Serves authentic Neapolitan pizza, Brick oven baked, Casual yet upscale dining experience

Lido comes in at No. 6 on our list of the 7 Best Restaurants to Try in Harlem. This Italian restaurant is quite unique. It offers two completely different menus for different functions. Saturday night will provide you with a romantic and quiet atmosphere, perfect for dinner time. But on Sunday their entire menu and atmosphere changes. From a quiet dinner spot, it turns into a packed brunch spot. Just like the atmosphere of the Lido, the menu also changes drastically. On Saturdays you can enjoy their gnocchi with sage and cream. And on Sundays you can have brunch with poached eggs and truffle polenta. And don't forget their $16 bottomless mimosa when you're having your brunch.
