A Venice institution for over thirty years, this establishment provides a menu of standard options, including burgers, fries, sandwiches, salads, and omelets. The food is decent, but it's not the primary reason to visit. Instead, the charm and character of the place make it a draw for many patrons.
During a brief stay in the area, I had the pleasure of enjoying brunch at this establishment. While there are more upscale options with refined menus in the vicinity, the rustic, almost theatrical atmosphere of this establishment was a refreshing change. The food had a Hispanic influence, and I enjoyed a local meal along with a good cup of coffee. Overall, it was a delightful dining experience.

The brunch menu is not as extensive, but each person was able to find something they wanted. Drinks were ordered first, including passion fruit mango spritzes and pineapple cucumber spritzes. The main courses included avocado toast with sourdough bread topped with avocado mash, hemp togarashi, and chives, as well as a lemon on the side. The dish was aesthetically pleasing and garnished with yellow flowers. The breakfast burrito was also a popular choice, filled with soft scrambled eggs, sage and black pepper sausage, jack cheese, crispy potatoes, and scallions, accompanied by serrano aioli and hot sauce. The sausage flavor and egg to crispy potato ratio made the burrito stand out.
