20 Best delivery restaurants in New York City
Wake up, prepare breakfast, disinfect and shower before 10:00 a.m. m. At noon, I make lunch in our small kitchen while my partner makes me a spicy margarita or some other easy-to-make “daytime cocktail.” We will clean and disinfect again. At six o'clock, I'm preparing dinner, which usually consists of a vegetable and a main dish. In between those hours, we're glued to our laptops dealing with deadlines, exercising, or running errands, making sure we're never without essentials or creature comforts. We have CNN 24/7 in the bedroom. Let's learn about Top delivery restaurants in New York City.

7. Katz's Delicatessen
Established in 1888, Featured in films and TV shows

If you're like me, you're probably on one or two group emails (or chats) about where to shop for Passover. You're also likely in discussions about holding a virtual Seder. Ours is happening on Zoom. And while I love and highly recommend eating the restaurant's pastrami and corned beef sandwiches, among other dishes, this is where I get my matzo ball soup. Place your order through Seamless or Uber Eats. (You can also order brisket by the pound that is shipped to you.)

Another bonus: You can pair your meal with wine from Forbes Under 30 list, Cote beverage director and author Victoria James; there are magnums and hard-to-find bottles from the restaurant's wine list. 9. Sant Ambroeus West Village
A taste of Milanese culture in the heart of West Village

There are many Italian restaurants to choose from when you are in New York City. But Sant Ambroeous is one of the most loved, despite its higher than normal prices. But here you're paying for premium ingredients, like the shaved 24-month-aged Parmesan on the veal ragout and the San Daniele prosciutto in the burrata appetizer. However, I would be doing you a disservice if I didn't mention the vitello tonnato, a dish made of thinly sliced beef with tuna and caper sauce. It may seem like a strange combination but I assure you it is delicious. And it's enormously difficult to find even under normal circumstances. (To my knowledge, fewer than eight Italian restaurants in New York City serve it.) So to have it delivered to me so conveniently is a small mercy for which I am grateful. Order through Caviar.

Three words: black label burger. If you haven't tried Minetta Tavern's most famous dish, now is the time. Unfortunately, bone marrow is not offered for delivery or pickup. But you can get steak and fries if you don't like burgers. Order through Caviar.

20. Two Boots West Village
Handcrafted, locally sourced ingredients, Artisanal pizzas

Can you imagine life in New York without the occasional thin crust pizza? It would be strange. It would be criminal. It would be sad. So thank goodness this gem of an institution is open. All pizza flavors are available and made to order when a pie is delivered to you. But if you're not within Two Boots' delivery radius, you can walk into one of the two locations open in Manhattan (West Village and East Village) and order pizza by the slice. But keep in mind that the store's menu is limited to a few options: most likely "V for Vegan" and "Grandma Bess." Place your order through the Toasts tab.
