5. Guacuco
Authentic Colombian cuisine in a homey environment

During my visit, I opted for the number 12 A - a vegetarian dish that consisted of cheese and bananas. I also shared a plate of small fried arepas with guayana cheese, which were absolutely delicious. Although I didn't get a chance to try their empanadas, I am definitely planning on going back to sample more of their offerings. Overall, I was thoroughly impressed with this place. The staff was friendly, the food was incredibly tasty and fresh, and the vegetarian empanada I ordered was generously sized and bursting with flavor, thanks to its sweet dough.

6. Oaxaca Taqueria
Family-owned and operated, using traditional Mexican recipes

During my visit to Hell's Kitchen to catch a show, I stumbled upon this little gem. As someone with celiac disease, I always have to be cautious about consuming gluten. Thankfully, the staff at Oaxaca Taqueria were extremely knowledgeable and accommodating. They gladly answered all my questions about their food preparation process. And let me tell you, their tacos were simply phenomenal. The flavors were out of this world. And don't even get me started on their hibiscus tea. It was a drink that dreams are made of.

Their kale and brussels salad was a personal favorite of mine, showcasing the perfect blend of flavors.
