Pier 39's Crepe Cafe is a great early morning spot, open before the pier officially opens. My husband enjoyed a breakfast crepe with eggs, turkey, and cheese, while I opted for a basic sugar crepe. We both loved our crepes and appreciated the Starbucks coffee. The cafe's openness at a time with no crowds allowed us to enjoy our meal at one of their little tables. The food and service received positive feedback.
One advantage of the Crepe Cafe is its early operating hours, making it one of the few options before 10am at Pier 39. 24. The Grotto
Scenic location in Fisherman's Wharf, Cozy atmosphere, Fresh seafood

I had a pleasant late lunch with a small group. The staff was welcoming, and we were lucky to get a great seat on the corner, where we could enjoy live music from a busker. We also had the added entertainment of an Italian parade passing by. It was a nostalgic experience, as I had eaten at the same establishment over a decade ago and was happy to find that the quality had remained consistent.
The upstairs grotto section of the restaurant was particularly impressive, having been recently renovated. The space was clean, and the service was excellent. Our waiter, Jesus, was especially friendly and attentive. Although the prices were higher than average, likely due to the major tourist location, I found the experience to be worth the cost. I had even visited a nearby restaurant but left after being ignored for an extended period.
