OTF's high-intensity interval training (HIIT) workouts combine cardio and strength training exercises and are designed to challenge participants and keep their heart rates in the designated "orange" zone to maximize calorie burn and improve fitness levels. Since joining OTF, I have noticed improvements in my strength, endurance, and overall physical fitness. Mentally, I feel more energized, confident, and motivated to stay active and maintain a healthy lifestyle.

I was excited for hip hop Friday, but my enthusiasm was dampened when the instructor, who was not black, described the playlist she had made as "ratchet." This comment left a bad taste in my mouth, as I couldn't help but think that she wouldn't last a day in a predominantly black neighborhood like Nickerson.
Despite this setback, I was determined to have a good experience and I'm glad I did. As a first-time attendee, I went in with an open mind and was immediately impressed by the awesome instructor and the friendly and helpful atmosphere. I started sweating just 5 minutes into the class, and I couldn't wait to come back for more.
