12. Wood Tavern
Known for artisanal pizzas baked in a wood-fired oven

Wood Tavern is a restaurant located in a lively shopping district on College Avenue, known for its American Brasserie-style cuisine. The food and staff receive consistent praise and high ratings, with customers often awarding them the full 5 stars. However, the interior design, while welcoming, only receives 4 stars due to one major issue - the noise level. Many customers find it to be unbelievably loud, making it difficult to hold conversations and causing them to overhear nearby tables.
Despite the positive aspects of Wood Tavern, including its delicious food and excellent staff, the noise level detracts from the overall experience. The high volume makes it challenging to have conversations, and the lack of privacy causes diners to hear the conversations of those around them. This aspect of the restaurant can be particularly disappointing for customers seeking a more intimate or relaxed dining experience.
