23. Bikram Yoga Chicago IL
Hot yoga in a heated room

The yoga instruction is traditional and the teacher's cues are helpful, making it a great class for those who enjoy Bikram yoga. However, the environment of the studio detracts from the relaxation typically associated with yoga.
The instructor was adequate, but the studio itself was far from soothing. The floor is carpeted, which is unusual for yoga studios, and bright overhead lights are kept on during practice. These factors make it one of the least relaxing yoga studios the author has ever experienced.

When I first started coming to Wildlight Yoga in the fall, I was new to yoga and felt a bit nervous. However, the staff and instructors were open and friendly, making me feel at home. I have since grown to enjoy the Sunday restorative class, but have also tried out other class options.
