5. 1959 Kitchen & Bar
Featuring a cozy and intimate atmosphere with a vintage vibe, located in the heart of Chicago's art district.

The service at the establishment was commendable, but the food left much to be desired. Our party tried a variety of dishes, including French onion soup, beef tartare, wild mushroom pasta, salmon, hamburger, and oysters. Unfortunately, the only dish that was enjoyable was the French onion soup. The rest of the food was disappointing, and I would not recommend the restaurant for dining based on our experience.
However, there was one exception to the lackluster food - the French Dip sandwich was delicious. It was a bit overpriced, but the flavor and quality made it worth the cost. If I were to return to the establishment, it would be for the drinks and the French Dip sandwich, not the other dishes we tried.
