1. The Stone House at Clove Lakes
Set in a beautiful 19th-century mansion with views of Clove Lakes Park

Embark on a culinary adventure at The Stone House at Clove Lakes, where an extensive lunch menu awaits. Bask in the beauty of the outdoor seating area, overlooking serene waters, and revel in the perfect combination of stunning views and incredible ambiance. From the moment I stepped in, the restaurant's rich history and romantic charm captivated me. The service during the birthday party dinner was outstanding, and the food, oh the food! It was simply heavenly, with generous portions that left me feeling satisfied. And if you're looking for something extra special, mark your calendar for their upcoming Valentine's Day events and weekend celebrations. Every bite at The Stone House is worth savoring, as I found myself devouring the mouthwatering Chateaubriand before I even had a chance to snap a photo. This hidden gem is too good to resist.

2. Marina Cafe Restaurant & Tiki Bar
Tiki bar ambiance and waterfront dining

Looking for a more casual experience? Head over to Marina Cafe's indoor bar during Happy Hour. Treat yourself to a cocktail as you unwind and enjoy the laid-back atmosphere. The bar offers a selection of reasonably-priced drinks, including well drinks and domestic beers. Hungry for a snack? The small snack menu is available to satisfy your cravings. Though not particularly outstanding, it provides a suitable accompaniment to your refreshing libation. Next time, I plan to try their Tiki Bar, in hopes of experiencing the coastal vibes and tropical delights that await.

4. J's On The Bay
Waterfront dining with beautiful sunset views

We were absolutely blown away by our experience at J's On The Bay. After a day of crunching numbers for our taxes in Brooklyn, my wife and I were in need of a delicious dinner spot on our way back to New Jersey. Luckily, we stumbled upon J's on the Bay and it exceeded all our expectations. The service was exceptional, and we were impressed by the recent renovation which gave the place a beautiful new look. But most importantly, the food was still as delicious as ever. We were greeted with warm focaccia bread and refreshing iced New York water to cleanse our palates, setting the tone for a truly fantastic dining experience.

5. Project Brunch
Scenic waterfront views, relaxed atmosphere

Having been to Project Brunch before, I can confidently say that the food and service are consistently excellent. The comfortable cafe atmosphere hasn't changed, and I've never had a bad meal here. The shrimp and grits, in particular, were on par with the ones I've had in the South where they are a traditional staple. Rest assured, you won't be disappointed with a visit to Project Brunch.

7. Fiore Di Mare
Authentic Italian seafood with a cozy atmosphere

This restaurant has easily become our favorite dining spot, ensuring a perfect experience every time we visit. When we could only dine outdoors due to current circumstances, the staff remained attentive and friendly, providing fast and professional service. While we enjoyed the delicious fried calamari, the accompanying sauce was something new and intriguing to us - a hint of buffalo and perhaps tomato. We weren't quite sure, but it added an extra twist to the dish.
