15. Pinoy Fast Food in Alief
Authentic Filipino cuisine, late-night hours, catering and party trays available

I visited a Filipino restaurant today and tried several dishes, including beef steak, pancit, chicken menudo, and binagoongan, all served with white rice. Unfortunately, I found the taste to be quite mediocre, and the cost for the meal, which included a cup of banana dessert and two sodas, added up to $25.
Despite the unremarkable food, the owner of the restaurant stood out for their exceptional friendliness. We had gotten lost and arrived at the restaurant just before closing time, yet they still welcomed us and served us generous portions of authentic Filipino dishes, such as sisig, lechon kawali, pinakbet, and lumipat. Moreover, the prices were reasonable, making for a positive dining experience despite the mediocre food.
