Upon arrival, a cash bar was available for those who wished to drink while cooking, which was not included in the pre-paid cost of $128 per person. Participants were then separated into stations and assigned one of the courses, receiving recipe instructions and ingredients, but lacking any form of instruction. Essentially, attendees paid to make their own food, which was served family style to each table. The "wine tasting" was also underwhelming, with three small pours of white wine at each place, and a sommelier explaining the wines but offering no further insight or value, leading some to question whether it was worth the $128 per person.
