7. Las Palmas Tex-Mex in Uptown
Offers a happy hour with discounted drinks and appetizers.

The food at this restaurant is excellent, with every dish I tried being flavorful and satisfying. However, the interior lighting is too dim, making it challenging to see during lunchtime, and limiting the ability to comfortably dine inside with co-workers or friends. My family and I visited for dinner, and the staff provided excellent service. The hostess, Domi, and manager, George, were especially helpful, quickly seating our large group despite our lack of a reservation.
George and Domi made us feel welcome and created a warm, family-like atmosphere. Their accommodations made our birthday celebration memorable, making it worth recommending this restaurant to others looking for a great experience. The food and drinks were both delicious and contributed to our wonderful night. Despite the issue with the lighting, the ambiance in the room where we were seated was excellent. I suggest dining here and asking for George and Domi to ensure a memorable and enjoyable dining experience.

The dessert served at this establishment is truly exceptional, offering a wonderful taste and impressive presentation. It is so impressive that it makes for a memorable part of the dining experience. During my first time dining there, which was on a Saturday evening, I was very pleased with the service and food. The beet salad was delicious and the bolognese was one of the best I have ever had. My friend, who joined me, was not feeling very adventurous but still enjoyed her salmon dish.
Both the entrees were generously portioned, and we left feeling satisfied but with enough room to try their dessert. We had a pre-theater dinner reservation and didn't have time for after-dinner drinks, but we did make a note to come back for happy hour during the week. Overall, the atmosphere, food, and service were all top-notch, making for a fantastic dining experience. I am already looking forward to my next visit.
