The tour itself was well-organized and informative, with a delicious lunch served at one of the wineries. Our guide was knowledgeable and provided a great overview of the wine-making process.
However, I felt it was important to note that during the booking process, there was no mention of the need to tip the bartenders and driver separately. This came as a surprise to many of the tour participants, and I think it would be helpful for 5 Star Tours to be more transparent about this requirement in the future.
In contrast, I had a very different experience on a tour bus trip to Mexico with a different company. The driver's reckless driving, including speeding and slamming on the brakes, resulted in my friend falling off her seat and getting injured. The driver's behavior was unacceptable and put all the passengers at risk. I cannot stress enough how important it is for tour companies to prioritize the safety and comfort of their passengers, and this experience was a stark reminder of that fact.
