Frenchette is a contemporary French brasserie in Tribeca with an ever-changing menu of exquisite dishes that honor French tradition while infusing a modern twist. The restaurant is owned by the same team behind another of our favorites, Le Rock, and the food at Frenchette is equally noteworthy. In 2019, it won the James Beard Foundation Award for Best New Restaurant. Unlike Le Rock, Frenchette has less outward pomp and circumstance, but whatever it lacks in glitz and glamour, it certainly makes up for with its exquisite cuisine, including brouillade with soft scrambled eggs, Peconic snails and persillade. Frenchette's cassoulet is the ultimate show stopper with smoked pork belly, lamb ribs, saucisson and Tarbais beans. Following the current French trend, Frenchette has an extensive international wine list with a strong selection of natural wines. The menu here also includes signature dishes like fried anchovies with garlic aioli and homemade ham with radishes and hazelnuts. Entrees are priced from $38 to $135.
