The dining experience at Blue Mermaid left much to be desired - the service was lackluster, and the food was mediocre at best. Despite the passable clam chowder, the overall quality fell short, with the fried dishes in need of improvement. The forgetful staff further detracted from the experience, making it difficult to receive attention even during slower periods. This restaurant is not one I would recommend to others.
To my surprise, The Blue Mermaid at the Argonaut exceeded expectations. As the in-house dining option, I initially had low hopes, but my wife and I found ourselves returning daily for either lunch or breakfast. The consistent quality and pleasant dining experience made our stay even more enjoyable.

The service is excellent, making it one of the best options for breakfast or lunch. It's a shame they close early. Evelyn Willis Darren's Cafe was incredibly delicious and I loved being able to have breakfast or lunch there. The BBQ Chicken Pho was absolutely amazing for brunch. This place had something for everyone, especially with kids in tow! The waiter was very friendly and made us feel at home. My only suggestion would be to use larger napkins.
