The food proved to be so delicious that the couple returned the next day for dinner and even brought their whole family for a lunch a few days later, with everyone leaving satisfied.
A baseball game at Petco Park led to another discovery of the same restaurant, this time due to the attraction of $3.00 beers and burgers. The prices were noted to be reasonable, and the BBQ burger with a side of fries was declared delicious. The tri-tip sandwich also received positive feedback, and the ribs became a must-try for future visits. Although the service was mediocre during this visit, the relaxed atmosphere and outdoor seating on the patio made up for it. The restaurant's new appearance and the minor inconvenience of a broken A/C unit did not diminish the overall positive experience.
