1. Dominique Ansel Bakery
Inventor of the Cronut

Both the Cronut and DKA are popular pastries that have gained a lot of attention. However, many people find that the DKA, or Dominique's Kouign Amann, is the superior option. This pastry, made by renowned chef Dominique Ansel, features a flaky, buttery exterior and a tender, caramelized interior. It is so delicious that visitors to Ansel's bakery in New York City often leave with several in hand, and friends may even request them as a special treat.
If you do find yourself in New York and decide to try a Cronut, a hybrid of a croissant and a doughnut, be prepared for a long line and a high price tag. However, some believe that the DKA is just as worth the hype. It can be warmed in the oven for a few minutes to make it even more irresistible. If you're a fan of sweet, buttery pastries, both the Cronut and DKA are worth a try, but many people find that the DKA is the standout choice.
