Family-owned deli with a cozy atmosphere and a rich history since 1946

This sandwich shop is conveniently located two blocks up Kearney from one of the speaker's law firm clients. The same person who introduced them to Ginger's Trois also recommended this place to them. It is the speaker's go-to spot when they are short on time and need a quick, satisfying lunch. Although it is called a market, it is primarily a sandwich shop. The South wall is lined with snack foods and a few staples, while the North wall has refrigerated drinks. The sandwich counter takes up the back of the shop. The shop's sandwiches are superior to those of any other deli-class spot in the area.
The sandwich shop has a friendly staff member at the counter, and there are about 12 chairs in the small space. The cleanliness is top-notch for a sandwich shop. However, it can get quite stuffy inside. The prices are affordable, making it a great option for a quick, affordable lunch.
