Brookline "The Clayroom" is a pottery studio where you can paint your own pottery and also offers private lessons on the potter's wheel. Wheel throwing classes must be booked privately as there are only two wheels in the studio. Clayroom is perfect for kids, offering a children's clay day program, including pottery painting, craft building and other art activities, games and projects along with lunch and snacks. The owner describes the quality of the teaching as excellent, he does a great job of explaining the painting process and is happy to help with any questions or concerns. The studio is a fun birthday party spot or (less messy) date spot, according to reviews. The cost to paint your own pottery is $10 per person for two hours plus the cost of the pottery.
